This ten-month performance based program is an wonderful addition to a drastically under serviced part of our areas music scene. The focus of this group beyond music will be to provide students with much needed self esteem, self worth and confidence. Students will learn proper singing technique, theatre art, dance arts with the help of people highly qualified in each field. Applicants must be between the ages of 8 and 16, however space is limited. Previous experience is not required to take part, everyone will be treated equally.

Honk!

Students in the ensemble program will take part in a fully-staged version of the musical comedy Honk! This will incorporate all the skills and techniques learned in Term One. However, this program is designed to be less stressful for participants who have less time to devote to the production.

Cost
  $730 Full Year (Term 1 and 2)
  $370 Term One only (Term two cannot be taken separately)

• Voice Component - Vocal instruction Proper voice instruction with Jane Davidson Snider, a qualified and respected professional Voice Coach on a one on one basis as well as in a group
• Dance Instruction - All students will learn dance choreography for the entire show from Heather Ellis, a local dancer / choreographer
• Drama - Stage direction and general theatre knowledge will be provided by Shaw Fogeron, a local up and coming director who we are very fortunate to have

Principle Roles for Honk
Term 1 & 2: Tuesday Evenings 6:00-9:00, ages 11-16

Those selected to participate in this group will require more rehersal time and more home time devoted to practice. This program will hone the more advanced skills of these older teens and tweens. This group will more one on one attention from the directors in order to develop strong characters. They will be expected to take part in the ensemble program in addition to their role.
